DDEC acquires three printers to manufacture artificial corals to reinforce Puerto Rico's marine ecosystem

The Department of Economic Development and Commerce (DDEC) acquired three printers for $50,000 to to manufacture biodegradable artificial corals made from PLA derived from corn. and implant at least 36,000 of them in the next three years on the island municipality of Culebra.
